Guided nature drives in open 4x4 vehicles track desert-adapted elephants across Damaraland's rugged terrain. The Twyfelfontein rock art site, a UNESCO World Heritage area with over 2000 engravings, is 3 km from the lodge. Two self-guided walking trails, the green route and the red route, start at the property itself.

Location & Access

Twyfelfontein Country Lodge features a landing strip for small airplanes, offering direct fly-in access to the remote Damaraland location. The lodge sits on the D3214 road, 9 km from Khorixas, and is near geological attractions such as the Organ Pipes and the Petrified Forest. Guests can obtain cash at reception and have car repairs done using the on-site garage.
